Round 3

CHGS 4 v RBAI 1

The team continued from where they left off against Methodist College. It only took 5 minutes for CHGS to take the lead, after some good work from Jack Shaw and Sam Millar on the wing. Sam Armstrong finished off a great team move, after a slice of luck from a goalkeeper error. CHGS bossed the game throughout the first half, however RBAI scored on the counter attack, with good work from their midfielders and striker. As the first half was coming to a close, Thomas Campbell broke from midfield to slide the ball into the bottom corner of the RBAI goals.

CHGS scored the third with just after half-time, after an excellent individual effort from Thomas Campbell. Leon Carley rounded the match off with a darting run through the defence, before rounding the keeper to slot the ball into an empty net.

This was an excellent team display with special mentions going to Thomas Campbell, Andrew Kyle and Josh Mark who played outstanding throughout the entire game.
