In support of children in need next week the charity committee have organised a funky tie day on Friday 17th November. Can all pupils please find or borrow a tie, the funkier the better, to wear to school. A £1 donation will be collected during form time on Friday which will allow Children in Need to continue to make real differences to the lives of children and young people across the UK.
Throughout the week children in need merchandise will be on sale at break and lunch ranging from 50p - £3. We have pins, pens, wristbands, key chains and bags so be sure to be early so you don’t miss out. There will be a raffle to win a Pudsey bear worth £10 with tickets on sale at 50p each and ‘Guess how many sweets are in the jar’, each guess is 50p and closest guess will win the jar. These will be presented to the winners on Friday afternoon.
We are also carrying out a search for the round pounds which are no longer in circulation, if you happen to still have any could please bring them to your form teacher so that they could be donated to a worthy cause. The form class with the most round pounds donated will receive a prize on Monday.
We thank you in anticipation of your support for Children in Need week and look forward to seeing the funky ties.
