Swim Ulster Schools Cup & Championships 2017
Abbie McNeilly and Aimee Russell swam first on Saturday in Group 4 in the Swim Ulster Schools Cup and Championships.
Aimee Russell finished 5th over all with Abbie McNeilly finishing 52nd out of 71 swimmers in the Girls 11-12 50 meter Freestyle & Aimee Russell finished 4th overall with Abbie McNeilly placing 46th out of 49 swimmers in Girls 11-12 grouping for 50 meter back.
Aimee Russell has now qualified to represent the school in the Irish Minor Schools Gala on 11th February 2018 in both 50m Front Crawl & 50m Backstroke!
Jana Greer competed on Sunday morning firstly in the Girls 12-14 year group 100m Fly finishing 15th out of 36 swimmers and a respectable 21st in the Girls 12-14 years 200 meter IM out of 66 swimmers!
Jessica Wainwright swam 200 IM for the Girls 15 - 19 year olds finishing 27th overall . Jessica also finished 40th in the girls 15-16 100 Meter Back!
Lauren came 8th in Girls 17-19 Girls 100 Meter Back and 15th in the Girls 17-19 Girls 100m Free style event.
Every swimmer who competed achieved at least one Personal Best in their swims which is a fantastic personal achievement.
