On Tuesday 3rd November 2015, eighteen Year 14 Health and Social care students visited McKee’s factory in Maghera to observe food safety and hygiene practices and the impact of legislation and regulations. Mr George McKee willingly gave us a tour of the different areas of the factory where we observed butchery, food preparation, food manufacture, packaging and distribution. The students found the visit interesting and informative and we were very grateful to Mr McKee for once again allowing Cambridge House students to visit the factory.
