2nd round Senior Schools’ Cup
Dalriada School, Ballymoney, hosted the CHGS 1st X1 hockey team in the 2nd round of the Belfast Telegraph Senior School Hockey Cup on Saturday, 3rd December. During the first ten minutes, the CHGS defence were forced to work incredibly hard to keep the score sheet clean. The game was incredibly physical and was a test of both fitness and character. Dalriada eventually broke down the defence to put 2 goals past the keeper and secure the victory together with a place in the next round. Despite this loss, all credit must go to each and every member of the team who put in 100% effort. We wish the Dalriada team every success in the next round of the competition.
